Your support is vital if we are to achieve our aim of keeping the wherries sailing on the Broads and available for everyone to enjoy. There are several ways you can help ensure their future.

How you can help

Become a Friend yourself or give membership as a gift to someone else. Joining the Friends is the gateway to becoming a volunteer, whether as a crew member or viewing guide, carrying out maintenance or helping with administration. Volunteers are much needed and very welcome in all areas.

Donate, either online at Everyclick or by contacting us to donate by cheque or direct bank transfer. You might also like to remember Wherry Yacht Charter in your will.

Join us on board for a sailing, viewing or fundraising event - enjoy a day on board or a look around the wherry, and learn more from our enthusiastic volunteers.

Charter a wherry - all proceeds from chartering are used for maintenance and restoration.

Make a purchase - gain donations for us, at no extra cost to yourself, when shopping online with many big-name retailers.

Spread the word about our work and our wherries. We are on both Facebook and Twitter, and have an email list. Contact us to discuss articles for publication, poster and leaflet display, and any other opportunities.
